Geology Club Encounters Pitt-Johnstown Alumni in Iceland

Pitt Johnstown Geology Club (2024) and Alumni Trish Garing (1991)

During their Spring Break trip to Iceland, the Pitt-Johnstown Geology Club met Trish Garing, a Pitt-Johnstown Journalism and Political Science alum (1991) who happened to be vacationing in the area. Excited to see her alma mater's geology club, Trish joined the group photo holding the club's banner. The encounter was a pleasant surprise for both parties, and a reminder of how small the world can be.
