University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown

Reserving A Vehicle

The Pitt-Johnstown Conference Center helps to serve the campus by maintaining one minivan that is available for university use by our students, faculty, and staff.  Additional vehicles, including 12-passenger vans, can be rented through Enterprise by using the Panther Express Travel Management program. The procedures for renting vans are below.

Reserve a Vehicle

Please allow seven to ten business days before your departure.  Cancellation policies should also be reviewed.

  • Campus mini-van reservations are made through the UPJ Campus Services Portal under the "Conference Center" menu.

  • 12-passenger vans must be booked online through Concur or by contacting the Business Office.

    • Submit a request in Concur

      • Select Concur in the Pitt Portal or browse to https://www.concursolutions.com/home.asp.

      • Select “Requests” from the tabs at the top of the screen then “New Request”.

      • Be sure to choose Travel Agent Assisted Booking or Other to answer the question “How are you booking travel?”.

    • The request ID number should be sent to pitt@anthonytravel.com advising them you need a 12-passenger van.

    •  Anthony Travel will then book the reservation on your behalf.

      • You will need a university travel card or your personal credit card (reimbursable upon return) and a valid driver’s license. Please remember the individual driving the rental vehicle must be the same person booking the vehicle and must also match the name on the credit card.

      • Enterprise is the University's preferred rental company. The University of Pittsburgh’s agreement with Enterprise includes insurance so there is no need for the renter to purchase additional insurance. Rental insurance is not reimbursable.

      • Rentals will be available for pick up at Enterprise, 737 Scalp Avenue, Johnstown, PA 15904.  Delivery to the Pitt-Johnstown campus may also be requested.  If you request vehicle delivery, please note a time.

Student Drivers should utilize campus mini-van rentals or contact the Business Office to request and review options for off-campus rentals.
